Building teams that build robots

The FLL and FTC teams have been learning teamwork skills so they can solve difficult problems together. Using only straws, paper and tape, they had to span the “valley” between two “mountains.” Then, the bridges had to successfully hold a number of “cars.” These activities are giving the students practice in communication skills and problem solving. They are gearing up for bigger and more complex challenges coming this fall!
