Optic Nerds Celebrate Victory at FIRST Lego League Championship

After months of hard work, team building, research, field trips, building, coding and troubleshooting, the Optic Nerds shook-up the Penn State Berks campus! The team conducted four judged interviews relating to their team’s core values, robot design and programming, and research project the Exo-Glove.

Then they capped off the day running “Vulcan the Robot” three times, attempting to complete as many missions as possible in 2 and one-half minutes. They scored 18th out of 52 teams in the robot games and earned a 2nd place trophy in the research category for their Exo-Glove occupational therapy glove. Let’s hear it for Hanover’s future technology stars!
