The Optic Nerds celebrated with Hanover Borough Councilman Heath Chesney when he treated the team to dinner at Divino Pizza. Councilman Chesney enjoyed witnessing the

comradery of the team and hearing about the real-life experiences the students faced as they progressed through their season. “I can relate to the joys and tears that go into difficult projects. Those are realistic ups and downs that engineering teams face,” he said. The students displayed their trophy as one of the highlights of their “Into Orbit” FIRST Lego League season.
